Helen Beech is a Director of Forbury People and Partner of its associated law firm Clarkslegal. She is recognised as a leader in the employment field, supporting businesses during major redundancies, restructuring, and business transfer projects. Helen is also particularly interested in finding solutions through preventative measures, such as learning and development programmes and employee engagement.

Whether looking at engagement or industrial relations issues, recruitment and retention processes or compensation and reward, Helen is able to provide clients with a holistic approach which combines her HR knowledge with extensive legal experience.

Monica Atwal is a Director of Forbury People and Managing Partner at its associated law firm Clarkslegal. Monica specialises in employment relations and immigration. Her aim is not only to assist clients when issues arise but to proactively help their organisations thrive. Monica has an abundance of experience in supporting a wide range of organisations in the utilities, IT, pharmaceutical, retail, logistics, and motor industry sectors, combining strategic her and legal expertise to deliver to her clients.

She also deals with complex grievances and disciplinaries, and multifaceted audit procedures for her clients.

Angela has extensive global leadership experience in HR. She is very experienced in developing and driving an HR function and integrated people agenda across a range of organisations, ensuring the organisation is agile and set up to grow in a rapidly changing market.

An experienced Executive and Non-Executive who has worked across a range of FTSE and US (incl. NASDAQ) and French listed companies. Her experience across a range of sectors both at home and internationally includes strategy design and delivery, culture development, change management and business turnarounds, digital transformation, M&A and demergers, as well as working in compliance for the FCA.

Sam Patrick is an established HR advisor and brings to the party her experience of working in an operational capacity at a leading international bank. Sam is a practical, commercial and solutions led HR practitioner. Her wealth of knowledge and connections are a huge asset to FPL and its clients. She assists with a vast array of HR issues including troubleshooting, administration, recruitment, performance management and complex or sensitive disciplinary and grievance issues.

Mike is an innovative and entrepreneurial HR professional with more than 30 years’ commercial experience, much at a senior level in a range of sectors including retail, health, banking and charities. Mike works at both strategic and operational levels deploying sound interpersonal and influencing skills. He also supports businesses with their executive resourcing, leadership programmes, organisational design and change management, talent acquisition and retention.

Mike is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development and holds a Management Services Certificate and Diploma awarded by the Institute of Management Services.

Ben is an experienced HR professional, ICM Level 5 coach and qualified mediator. He brings to Forbury People his experience of influencing HR and employment policy due to his experience as Head of HR at the CBI. Ben brings a depth of knowledge to the HR function including developing and delivering people strategies, coaching senior leaders, and employee relations.
